Feeling a bit blue...

Not really! I'm actually in a really good mood with all of this amazing weather! Just for a bit of fun I thought I'd review some of my blue polishes.

Australis Nail Colour

Sweetpea. Well I wouldn't quite call this a 'pea' colour, but it is amazing. A light pastel aqua/turqoise cream. I got this from my girlfriends for my 21st to go with a gorgeous tiffany & co necklace they gave me. It definitely is the tiffany's colour! It was really hard to capture the colour when I was swatching this but hopefully you get the idea. I’m not a massive fan of the Australis polish formula but their colours are awesome! Lots of fun and bright colours and they just recently got on the shatter bandwagon with a white shatter. Here’s some of their other colours (sweetpea 2nd from the right...looks a bit different in this shot)

Bourjois Paris

from the Cocktails a Barcelone mini range

A deep blue. As the name suggests, a deep navy blue with a high gloss finish. I really like the formula but the polish is so tiny which means the brush is tiny which makes it SO hard to apply! Despite this, quite a cute polish. Sorry the photo didn't show up too well.

Sephora Collection

Myrtille. This is a bright cornflower/electric blue. Probably one of my favourite colours I've ever owned but unfortunately the bottles are so tiny that you barely get 3 or 4 manicures out of it. And even more unfortunately Sephora don't post to Australia so I can't buy any more until I go back to the US (come on June 2012!!!) It got really gluggly and thick after a few uses so I tried to make it last as long as possible with some Seche Restore but it's just such a small bottle :(

If you don't already know of Seche Restore (or even the whole Seche range of products for that matter) you should check it out! I bought this off ebay a while ago because I couldn't find it anywhere in Aus and if you look around you can get it for a pretty good price online. Basically it is a thinner that will restore a polish back to its original consistency without diminishing the shine or colour. I am a big fan and highly recommend for sad old polishes!

But back to talking about Sephora. They have an awesome range of colours from their own collection and also from the Sephora by O.P.I collection...I really want the Glee minis they are so cute!!!

more to come soon :)
