Day 7 - Over the Taupe

So for today's post I thought I'd swatch a good old favourite of mine, Over the Taupe from the OPI Brights Collection. These are all so great - I have the minis which are really cute. I'm pretty sure I have the entire range just by coincidence because they are all such great colours. This consists of A Grape Fit, In my Back Pocket, No Room for the Blues (my sister has this one), On the same Paige, Shorts Story and of course, Over the Taupe. So let's have a look:

OPI Over the Taupe

A warm, brown taupe cream. Such a great colour. It's like You Don't Know Jacques' slightly warmer sister. I love it and, dare I say, probably prefer it to Jacques. I'm not quite sure if I'd call it a 'bright' colour so a little confused on how it made the 'Brights' collection but still a great colour and very, very popular choice as I'm pretty sure I've mentioned earlier! And how cute is the name?! Here are a few more photos because the taupe/brown tones of the polish seems to show up differently in all different lights/angles:

What I'd really like to do is a comparison between this and You Don't Know Jacques (I know, I know, I promised swatches of this a while ago!!) So I think I might try do that tomorrow.

Also, I've got exciting news! About 10 days ago I bought the whole Nicki Minaj Collection by OPI online and guess what...? They arrived yesterday in the mail!! So exciting. The colours are awesome and all so different from eachother which I love. A crazy combination of glitters, neon creams and most excitingly, another shatter!! Very fitting for Nicki Minaj. Anyway, I'd really love to swatch them straight away but it'll take me a while to do all 6 of them and I've had uni and work all day today :( so I'll have to save that for the weekend.
