Day 20 - OPI Ski Teal We Drop swatches and review featuring Sally Hansen White Crackle Overcoat

Hey guys! Hope you all had a lovely weekend and for those in Aus who got a day off today for Labour Day I hope you got to enjoy it! As I mentioned yesterday, I had uni today but I left early after a tutorial with a really bad stomach ache! :( so I'm afraid today will have to be a quick post so that I can get back to lying on the couch and watching Sabrina The Teenage Witch! haha

For today I've done a favourite from the 2010 OPI Swiss Collection...

OPI Ski Teal We Drop

As the name suggests, this is a dark teal creme - such an awesome colour and the formula is so smooth and creamy! Probably my favourite of the collection. It's a pretty uncommon/unique colour which is why I love it so much. As I don't have many nice dark polishes like this, other than reds and purples, I thought this would be a great opportunity for me to trial my brand new SH crackle polish over the top!

Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat - Snow Blast 01

I was pretty happy with how this crackled, especially on my thumb and pinkie finger but I found on the other nails that it crackled vertically in strips rather than "shatters" across the nail. Perhaps I need to practise a little more and figure out the perfect amount to have on the brush, etc, but overall very happy with this crackle! I got this from work the other day - the last one on the shelf! It has been soooo popular at work but I guess that's because it's the only shatter that we stock, apart from Australis, which doesn't have as good a formula. Since OPI brought out it's black shatter in 2011 with the Katy Perry Collection, lots of other brands have brought out equivalent crackle/shatter polishes and they have become a massive hit!! I'm glad to say that Sally Hansen have done a really good job with their Crackle Overcoat collection and the other colours they have brought out are awesome!

Hope you have a great start to the week - see you tomorrow! :)
