Swatch of the day - Parlez-vous OPI! One of my favourites from the French Collection (2008) - La Collection de France. The only 2 other polishes I have from this collection so far are 'You Don't Know Jacques' and 'Tickle my France-y' which I just posted the other day. I must be feeling really french lately - maybe I'll do Jacques tomorrow!
Anyway...let's cut to the chase:

the lilac is the most dominant tone here
Dusty/murky lilac taupe-y grey. Wow what a mouthful! But I think that's the best way to describe it. This colour is sooooo unique. Probably one of the most interesting colours I've seen yet. In the bottle it looks really purple but on it just screams grey. In different lights all of these amazing tones show up differently. I think my second swatch above is the most indicative of its true colour in most lights. Anyway, a great colour for any occasion!
Come to think of it I am definitely going to swatch Jacques now. As many may know, it took the world by storm a few months ago and I think it's safe to say it became one of OPI's most popular polishes. I had customers coming into work every day asking for it!! If only we sold OPI at my work.....
....actually that would be way too dangerous.
