Day 9 - From A to Z-urich!

After what was one of the most stressful days ever, I am glad to say that I am home safely and excited to relax, do my nails and post this awesome colour:

OPI From A to Z-urich

A lovely, dark, cool burgundy red with a hint of berry. I love this because it's really different from any other red that I own. It's hard to describe but there is something sort of 'cloudy' about it that makes it opaque with just 2 coats and different from a lot of other glossy reds. That explanation probably just confused you more than anything but it's a cool colour nonetheless. I really love the formula of this too. Thin enough to apply well and thick enough to not streak on application. The perfect combination!

I'm sorry I can't write any more I have to go to bed...been such a long day! See you tomorrow :)

Day 8 - You Don't Know Jacques vs. Over The Taupe

Finally! I've gotten around to swatching Jacques like I've been saying I would!! And I've even managed to do a comparison with Over The Taupe (which featured yesterday). Take a look:

OPI You Don't Know Jacques

A dark, dusty/grey taupe. This colour is from La Collection De France from 2008. Surprisingly though, in my opinion, the hype around this OPI favourite came a little later. A great colour for winter and if you like to wear simple, nude colours this can match many outfits quite nicely!

Over The Taupe vs. You Don't Know Jacques

......aaaaaaand a few more pictures, just because!

From Left to Right:

Index & Middle Finger: Over The Taupe
Ring & Pinkie Finger: You Don't Know Jacques

As you can see, OTT is a warmer, slightly lighter version of Jacques (in my opinion at least!!) I find OTT better suited to my skin tone because I'm so pale! Anyway...both are such awesome colours, no wonder they both took the world by storm!

Until tomorrow! :)
