Hola amigos! I feel like such a terrible blogger by doing this again but, after working 11 hours today, I'm afraid this post is going to have to be another quick one. I can, however, promise an exciting post for St Patrick's Day on Saturday which makes me feel a little better! And hopefully I will also be able to catch up on a little swatching so I can try out some new nail art designs.
OPI Romeo & Joliet
A stunning rusty, copper red/brown shimmer. This looks like a really shimmery copper brown in most lights but in some it is also really red - I love it! As I've said before, I don't often like these sorts of darker shades with my pale skin tone but I think the shimmer softens it a lot and I am finding myself hesitant to take it off! This is the problem with doing my nails every day - when I find a colour that I really love, I have to take it off within 24 hours and don't get to enjoy it as much as I should!
The formula is so lovely and smooth, like most OPI shimmers I have come across come to think of it. The polish is fully opaque with 2 coats but to truly do it justice, you really need 3 or preferably even 4. This is not an issue as it dries really quickly but to prevent dinting while the polish is still slightly wet, best to use a fast drying top coat (note I haven't used a top coat in the photos here).
Sighhh...looking forward to the weekend! Have a great day/night :)
