OPI Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It over If You Moust You Moust

Today I have a little colour combo from the newly released OPI Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection of 2012. Here's how it turned out:

OPI Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It over If You Moust You Moust

What a gorgeous combination! Here's some swatches of the base colour on its own...

OPI If You Moust You Moust

A bright, light-pink creme. Not dissimilar to OPI Shorts Story which I also love a lot. I found the formula to be really easy to apply and smoothe. Only really requires two coats but here I did three anyway.

OPI Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It

A clear-based glitter top coat with purple/gold glitter flecks throughout and large heart-shaped glitter. This polish is perfect for pairing with any of the other shade in this collection. I just love the idea of the heart glitter but in reality they are so hard to apply. I guess this is just part of the nature of a polish like this. Here's a close up of the bottle so you can see the heart glitters:

As you may have picked up on, I recently just got from a massive holiday in the US (hence all the new polish purchases...I promise a post dedicated solely to these soon). After hearing about the Minnie Mouse Collection by OPI my sister and I, being the massive (and I mean
massive) fans we are, searched everywhere we went for these beauties. We were unsuccessful, even at Disneyland :O, until we stumbled across them one evening in a Walgreen's store in Vegas. We of course purchased the entire collection (each).

I did later see them again in the Disney Soda Fountain store which, by the way, was the cutest little diner/soda shop/Disney store ever! Of course I bought the minis here because I just had to have them. Haha. The moral of this story is that I LOVE THEM and that OPI was actually so much harder to find in the US than I thought it would be. The only other place I saw it was in Nordstrom Rack where they only had certain colours. Although I love the Sephora by OPI polishes, I really wish Sephora stocked just OPIs as well. They would have made a killing from me. Ah well. This reminds me of a cheeky photo I took while I was in Sephora. . .

How awesome is this!?

It's the nail studio at Sephora. Every store, well at least the ones I visited, had one and it's probably where I spent most of my time on holidays. Just joking....but seriously :|

Haha a little bit of a rant today but hope you appreciate the swatches at least. I'll make sure to review the entire collection soon when I get a chance. In other news, I trialled my very first ombré nails this morning so I'm going to try do a post for those soon and perhaps even a tutorial over the weekend.

If you follow me on twitter I posted a sneak peek earlier so check it out and if you don't yet, follow me I'm @Hansiweir. I appreciate and love every single one of my followers, on here and on twitter, and thank you SO much for your wonderful feedback!
